Vision
At St Christophers Academy we are a community of ambition.
Ambition, community, respect and responsibility form the four core values of our school. These principles underpin every interaction and guide the decisions that we all make.
We open doors for children to enable them to exceed expectations. Our vision for our school is to be a safe community of happy, well-rounded individuals who aspire to achieve high standards in all of our endeavours.
We know that achieving well in reading, writing and maths is crucial. To enable this, we make the most of all opportunities to look outwards and collaborate, and we learn from research and evidence-based approaches to deliver high quality teaching. We also employ these approaches in other areas. We believe that equipping children with a broad curriculum and enrichment in the form of science, the arts, languages, sports, humanities and computing is important. Personal development is of high importance to us, and we pursue this through extracurricular clubs, school trips, visitors to the school, and enrichment events such as focus days and weeks.
We are a diverse community of individuals, all of whom contribute through our own experiences and cultures, and through a belief in celebrating differences and uniting under the aim for all children in our care to achieve their potential.
