Summer Holiday Activities for Families to Enjoy

Summer Holiday Activities for Families to Enjoy
This summer, Central Bedfordshire Council wants to ensure that families know about the variety of activities taking place across Central Bedfordshire, so they can make the most of what’s on offer during the summer holidays.

Activities include:
• Holiday clubs at the Council’s leisure centres offer a variety of sports, games, and creative activities for children of
all ages.
• Fun and interactive play sessions at the Council’s children’s centres to help children explore, learn, and make new
friends.
• Activities at the Council’s 12 libraries, including the annual Summer Reading Challenge, storytelling sessions, and
craft workshops.
• SEND swimming sessions at various pools across Central Bedfordshire, along with other activities specifically for
children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.
• Walking and cycling trails, and scenic circular walks in over 1,000 hectares of beautiful countryside.
Find out more about what's on offer, including about zoos, wildlife parks, museums, galleries and gardens.
